The Science of Allay

Allay is a breakthrough delivery mechanism for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF), a long established, proven medical therapy, currently in widespread use by health care professionals worldwide.  PEMF therapy has been shown in clinical studies to stop the release of inflammatory mediators and accelerate the body’s natural healing process.   It induces a mild electrical current into the cells at a frequency which recharges the cell, stops the release of pain and inflammatory mediators, increases blood flow, and re-establishes normal cell-cell communication.  As a result, your body can begin to heal faster, and you experience less pain and swelling.

Allay is a pulsed electromagnetic field therapy device.  A small electric current is being passed through the wire loop.  When the wire loop is placed near your skin, an undetectable magnetic field pulses into your tissue and activates the cells in the swollen tissue.  Once activated, the cells re-establish cell-to-cell communication and begin to pump fluid out of the spaces in your tissue.  This  fluid removal reduces your bloating, water-weight, pain, and swelling associated with menstruation.

Clinical Trials

A randomized, double-blind study was conducted evaluating the safety and efficacy of Allay Menstrual Pain Therapy in treating Primary Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain).  Of the 91 women studied, all suffering from primary dysmenorrhea, 48 patients received active patches while 43 received placebo patches.
